Locations

During the creation of our final project, we wanted to secure a location which would fit accurately with the thriller genre we were trying to create. The ideas of which we came up with for the creation of our film covered elements such as mystery, intensity and also thrilling clips. We came to the decision that to gain this feeling through location that we would choose a dark, empty room which would portray the thriller genre. The group discussed many ideas and later agreed that the best room for the effect we was trying to create with the location would be the resistant materials room. The resmat room was perfect for what we were trying to get from the location, it was dark which added to the effect of the thriller genre, mysterious because of the many different tools and equipment all around the place.

We also added a flashback clip part to our overall project, which we decided that it would be ideal if we used a different location to imply this change of time. As it was a flashback and included people of a younger age, the group decided that it would be good if we used the play ground outside, which exaggerates the past time which we have jumped back too.
